I'm prepared for the school year.  I have everything uploaded and ready for the students.  I'm getting to make copies of my syllabi.  Just need to go get the key form one school  and my ID from another school, then it's here we go!

Fall 2017 - Collin College

The Fall semester has started for Collin.  I'm ready to go.

Collin College

Getting ready to begin the Fall semester at Collin.  The Adjunct faculty meeting was good.  I didn't like the food, but the meeting was okay.

They questioned the Chief of Police of the college like crazy about Conceal and Carry.  The people who were asking all the questions seemed very nervous about the law.  Not sure how I feel.

I got to see my dean.  She's amazing.  The divisional meeting was cool.  I got a pocket size stapler set for helping out the presenter.

Back to Work

Well, August started off strangely.  On August 3rd @ 10:00 AM, I received a call from my brother telling me that my grandmother died at 9:30 AM.  After learning that news, I was unable to work on any school information.  I talk about my grandmother as my first writing influence, so every time I started working on my school items, I would think about her and cry.  I had to stop working for awhile.  Back working today.  It's going well.
Classes start next week! #cantwait

Preparing for 2016-2017

I'm currently working on my classes for the upcoming school year.  I'm getting excited about what the new school year will bring for me.  I have some new ideas to institute in my classes.  I learned a lot from teaching last year.  #isgonnabeagreatyear
